(Friday, Feb. 5, 2010) -- ALMOST a month after Haiti's destructive magnitude 7.0 earthquake -- the Bermuda Government charters a Boeing 737 American Airlines jet to deliver 12000 LBS of vital food and medical equipment to the people of Haiti, along with 60 doctors, nurses and aid workers. ZBM News is the only Bermuda media organization covering the flight from Miami. It will turn out that the devastation would be far worse than most had imagined. We were only able to spend two hours on the ground, however the Bermuda representatives, including Government Senator Thaao Dill, are able to tour nearby makeshift clinics.
